Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing or using Traid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use Traid. You must be at least 13 years old to use Traid. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Credits or otherwise engage in transactions that involve real money. By using Traid you confirm you meet these requirements. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of these Terms.

2. What Traid Is

Traid is a discovery and messaging platform. It lets users create and share listings, build and share AI assistants, and create and use mini-apps that run inside assistant conversations. Traid is not an escrow service, not a payment intermediary for user-to-user trades, and not a party to any meetup or exchange that takes place outside the platform. Any real-world transfer of goods or services that arises from a Traid listing happens directly between users and at their own risk.

3. Accounts

You may hold one account per person. Authentication is passwordless: when you log in, we email you a one-time sign-in link (commonly called a "magic link"). Traid does not collect or store passwords. Because access to your account depends on access to your email inbox, you are responsible for keeping your email secure.

If you complete a Stripe purchase without an existing account, Traid creates an account for you under the email you provided so the purchased Credits can be applied to it. You may claim, manage, or delete this account at any time.

4. Credits

Credits are a non-monetary feature of Traid. Credits have no real-world value. They cannot be redeemed for cash, withdrawn, exchanged for any other currency or cryptocurrency, or transferred between users except through the defined mechanics of the platform (for example, purchasing a mini-app from another user). Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or by Stripe dispute resolution. Traid may suspend, void, or claw back Credits issued from disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise unauthorized transactions.

5. Purchasing Credits

Credits are sold through Stripe. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's terms. Sales tax may apply. Traid does not store full payment card numbers; we receive a customer reference and transaction metadata from Stripe. Pricing, packages, and any introductory amounts are subject to change.

6. Listings

Listings are user-submitted descriptions of digital or physical items. Traid does not verify, authenticate, appraise, or guarantee any listing. "Purchasing" a listing on Traid unlocks the ability to message the creator of that listing. Traid does not handle shipping, escrow, dispute resolution, or fulfillment for any listing. Any meetup, exchange, or transfer of an item described by a listing happens entirely between users, off-platform, and at users' own risk. Traid is not liable for what happens off-platform.

7. AI Assistants

AI assistants on Traid are powered by a third-party large language model provider. Assistant output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, harmful, or otherwise unreliable. Do not rely on assistant output for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

When you interact with an assistant, your prompts and the assistant's outputs are transmitted to the third-party LLM provider as needed to generate responses. The provider's handling of that data is governed by the provider's own terms. Creators of assistants are responsible for the content of their system prompts and the behavior of the assistants they build. Traid does not author or warrant assistant content.

8. Mini-Apps

Mini-apps are user-generated executable code that runs inside an assistant conversation. Before any mini-app runs, Traid shows a permission dialog. By approving that dialog you accept responsibility for what the mini-app does within your session.

Creators of mini-apps represent that their code is safe, does not attempt to exfiltrate data, does not deceive buyers, and does not knowingly contain malicious behavior. Traid does not review, certify, or warrant mini-apps. If a mini-app misbehaves, the remedy runs against the mini-app's creator, not Traid.

9. User-Generated Content & License

You retain ownership of content you submit to Traid, including listings, assistants, mini-apps, messages, ratings, and any other material you create or upload. By submitting content, you grant Traid a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the platform and the features you have opted into. You represent and warrant that you have the rights necessary to grant this license for everything you submit.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Traid for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

engage in illegal activity; harass, threaten, or stalk other users; impersonate any person or organization; infringe any intellectual property right; post deceptive or fraudulent listings; scrape, mirror, or programmatically download the platform; attempt to evade the Credit-flow restrictions described in Section 4; distribute malicious code, including through mini-apps; or attempt to bypass Traid's access controls or moderation systems.

11. Reports and Moderation

Users may report listings and assistants through the in-product report flow. Traid may take automatic action against reported content — for example, setting an assistant to private — once thresholds are met. Traid may also remove, hide, suspend, or restrict any content or account at its discretion, with or without notice. Traid does not promise an appeals process but may provide one from time to time.

If you believe content on Traid infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a report selecting "Copyright infringement" as the reason, or contact Traid at the address in Section 18. We will review the report and remove content that infringes another person's rights.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

Traid may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that Traid believes pose a risk to other users or to the platform. You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your account data, listings, assistants, mini-apps, messages, and any remaining Credits are removed and cannot be recovered. Some records may be retained as required by law or for fraud prevention, including financial transaction records and moderation evidence.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Traid and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Traid does not warrant the availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of the platform, of any assistant output, of any listing, or of any mini-app. Traid does not warrant any off-platform interaction between users.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of Traid. Traid's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Traid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Traid, its affiliates, and its personnel from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of Traid, your content, your conduct with other users (including any off-platform meetup or exchange), mini-apps you author or distribute, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms

Traid may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable notice — for example, by email or an in-product banner — before they take effect. Your continued use of Traid after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using Traid and delete your account.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Traid is operated by Traid Inc., a Delaware corporation.

Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Traid that is not resolved through informal discussion will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property rights.

Class-action waiver. You and Traid agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending a written notice to support@traid.me within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. The notice must include your name, the email associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.

Small claims and informal resolution. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if it qualifies. Before starting arbitration, you agree to first contact Traid at support@traid.me and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Venue for non-arbitrable matters. For any claim not subject to arbitration, you and Traid agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
