Create an assistant that holds your notes, answers from them, and can build small apps on request. Start from Create an assistant.
Start the create flow
Go to Create an assistant and choose a blank assistant. Starting from a template instead gives you an assistant that already has notes and agents, covered in Start from a template.
A blank assistant is created in three steps: Details, Welcome, and Publish.

Enter the details
Enter a Name, which is required and is what people see when they come across the assistant. Add a Description of what it does. Both can be changed later in Settings.

Write the welcome screen
Enter a Welcome Message to greet anyone who opens the assistant. Add one or more Suggested Prompts, which appear on the same screen as starting points a visitor can tap.
Note
Suggested prompts are the only instruction most first-time visitors get, so name what the assistant can actually do rather than repeating the greeting.

Set privacy, category, and model
Choose a Privacy setting to control who can reach the assistant.

Pick a Category to place the assistant in a group, and a Model to set the AI model it runs on. Completing this step creates the assistant.
Billing
Usage is charged to the assistant's owner rather than the person typing, so setting this to Public bills activity on it to your balance.
Find the editor
Open the assistant from Your assistants and choose Edit. Everything about the assistant is changed from the sidebar.

Press Save to apply changes, which are not live until you do. Use Open chat to test the assistant without leaving the editor.
Add knowledge and a builder
A new assistant arrives with no notes and one agent that replies in text. Add notes under Memory to make it answer from your material instead of general knowledge, and add a toolchain agent to let it build apps rather than only describe them.
